Library Card Sign Up Month

September is Library Card Sign Up Month! Any child who signs up for a new library card will receive a bookmark and bookbag from the Library. After you get your new card, visit the Children’s Department to receive your gifts during the month of September.

Michigan Reads! Afternoon Storytime

Tuesday September 16th at 3:30 p.m.

Join us to share the Michigan Reads! One State, One Children’s Book program book “Raccoon Tune” by Nancy Shaw. We’ll share some other favorite raccoon stories and end with a craft you can make and take home. Held in the Children’s Storytime Room.

Afternoon Movie: The Spiderwick Chronicles

From the moment the Grace family moves into a secluded old house peculiar things start to happen. Unable to explain the accidents and strange disappearances, the Grace children, Jared, Simon, and Mallory start to investigate and find the unbelievable truth of the Spiderwick Estate and the amazing creatures that inhabit it.
