Foundation Center Cooperating Collection

The Fremont Area District
Library (FADL) houses a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation
Center (http://foundationcenter.org). |
| As a member of
this nationwide network of libraries, community foundations, and
other nonprofit agencies, the FADL provides visitors with free
public access to grantmaker directories, books on fundraising
and nonprofit management, and the Foundation Center’s electronic
databases, The
Foundation
Directory Online Professional and the
Foundation
Grants to Individuals Online. The fully searchable databases
include detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as
well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the
nation’s top funders. |

Upcoming Grant Workshops
Outcome Thinking and Management
Wednesday, April 14th - 9:00 am - 4:30 pm
This full day workshop is designed for new and seasoned
non-profit leaders. Taught by John LaRocca, the vice president of
The Rensselaerville
Institute. As a non-profit leader, John has helped dozens of
nonprofits in the U.S.
and
Canada understand and implement the
techniques of outcome frameworks. He has directed projects with the
Departments of Transportation in New York, Connecticut, and Montana,
United Way
agencies in six markets, and a diverse mix of clients throughout
North America.
The cost
for the day-long workshop is $25.00 and includes a workbook and
lunch.
